Information We Collect
FamilyHub is designed as a family planning and organization app. Depending on how you use the app, the information you enter may include family profile information, calendar, task and reminder data, grocery list data, bill tracking data, receipt information, meal planning details, timetable information, photos you choose to add, and app settings.
The core app data is stored locally on your device using private app storage and a local database. FamilyHub does not require an account just to use the main organizer features.
The app may also handle these categories in specific situations:
- Support messages: if you email support, we receive the email address and information you include in your message.
- Optional AI features: if enabled and used, relevant content such as a receipt image, timetable image, meal preferences, or a summary of your app data may be sent to the AIMAILABS AI Gateway and AI provider to generate a result.
- Ads: the free version may show Google AdMob banner ads. Google may process advertising identifiers and limited device/app information under Google's advertising policies.
- Purchases: subscriptions or purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details.
- Device/app diagnostics: app stores, operating systems, ad services, billing services, or support messages may provide limited diagnostic information needed to operate, troubleshoot, or improve the app.
How We Use Information
Information is used to provide the app's family organizer features, save your family plans on your device, schedule local reminders, process optional AI requests when you choose to use them, provide support, manage purchases, show ads in the free version, and improve reliability.
Data Storage and Security
Most FamilyHub data is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. Local data is controlled by your device and operating system. If optional AI features are used, relevant data is transmitted over HTTPS for processing. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a lightweight family organizer app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share or process information with service providers only when needed for app functionality, such as optional AI processing, Google AdMob ads, Google Play Billing purchases, or support email handling. These services process information according to their own terms and policies.
Children's Privacy
FamilyHub is intended for parents, guardians, and adults who organize family life. The app is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents or guardians are responsible for information they choose to enter about their family.
User Choices
You can edit or delete records inside the app. You can choose not to use optional AI features. You can manage notification permissions, ad personalization settings, and purchase settings through your device, Google account, or app store settings. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to normal operating system behavior and any backups you created.
